The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed concerning the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The service level established for intervention encounters a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the status sassa office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to enable the servicing of all buyers and maximize usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
